In September, Trump held 21 public campaign events, including speeches, town halls, rallies and press conferences. According to campaign schedules reviewed by ABC News, Walz held seven campaign events, compared to Harris’ 13. In addition to Trump’s extremely busy campaign schedule, his campaign partner, Sen. J.D . Vance, attended 14 events in September alone. Brief campaign visits and one-off appearances are not included in these totals. Even in the first week of October, the pace of the Trump campaign has been intense. According to an analysis by ABC News, Trump has already held eight campaign events between October 1 and 6, while Harris has only done two. Harris focused on his duties as vice president, receiving information and assessing the damage caused by Hurricane Helene. Trump, on the other hand, campaigned in several key states, including Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Michigan and North Carolina. Trump focused on the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, which polls show is the state closest to Harris. A recent New York Times/Siena College poll shows a tighter race with the two candidates neck-and-neck among registered voters in Michigan and Wisconsin. Trump has publicly acknowledged the importance of the final weeks of his campaign and plans to leave it all in the ground as Election Day approaches.
